"My A5 mandolins feature hand carved and graduated front and back plates. Exceptional clarity of tone and dynamic range make it suitable for virtually all styles from jazz and classical to bluegrass and folk.
I tune the top and back plates to achieve a woody tone in the low register and a responsive, sweet tone right up to the highest frets on the E string." www.paulshippey.co.uk |
